As a child, Jessie won various student art contests in Taiwan. She found out her talent when she was in Kindergarten and the teacher showed her drawing to the principal who hanged the art in her office. She studied at Ming Chuan University in Taiwan and studied watercolor painting from Professor Liang Dan-Feng. A few years later, she started painting portraits and still life in oil painting in Mr. Yim Mau-Kun’s art studio in Taiwan. She studied with him for 2 years and moved to Los Angeles. She then started painting portraits with oil painting in Mr. Adrian Gottlieb’s studio in Los Angeles. She has been teaching art for 10 years and her students won over 100 awards.
Our studio is honored to invite Stancy teacher to join us. She graduated from the Art Department of Hebei Normal University and has been engaged in art education for more than ten years. There are methods to understand the psychology, focusing on cultivating students' observation ability, imagination ability and creative ability from a multi-dimensional perspective. Let students discover the charm of art in the process of exploration. Some of the students trained in previous years have been accepted by top American art colleges such as Rhode Island and Parsons.
Jolina Jian is a freshman at Canyon Crest Academy and is the founder and President of Brushstrokes for Biodiversity, a student-run nonprofit organization. She has won numerous art contests including the Constitution Day Poster Design Contest, San Diego County Air Pollution Calendar Contest, the San Diego Earth Day Coloring Contest, the PTA Reflections, and more. Besides drawing, Jolina participates in her school's Science Olympiad team and loves playing with her 2 chinchillas.
